Congratulations to Jess Angell, Values in Action Winner

We’re delighted to announce that Jess Angell, Curriculum Leader for Humanities at River Academy, has been recognised by Maiden Erlegh Trust as our Values in Action winner for Be Inclusive.

Jess’s nomination highlighted her central role in helping to shape the culture, community and ethos of our new school. She is known for bringing colleagues together, creating space for ideas and collaboration, and modelling inclusive practice.

🔹 Jess shared:

“Being part of the team building something from the ground up is really special. Much of what I was nominated for has been a team effort – we’ve had the freedom to create new initiatives and try new ideas together.”

Jess’s work exemplifies Be Inclusive, and we are thrilled to celebrate her contribution to our school and the wider Trust.

👏 Thank you, Jess, for your energy, generosity and teamwork.
